Her projects reflect Architecture as a medium for collective resilience and ecological integrity varying in scale, from adaptive reuse and mixed use to rooftop compounds and co-living typologies. Through these projects questions around housing, climate adaptation, and spatial justice are raised. Her graduation project at the Willem de Kooning Academy (2024) proposed the adaptive reuse of the former Ministry of Social Welfare (SoZa) in The Hague, reclaiming the building’s connective and social potential within the city’s future Innovation District. Other works include The Frontline (2022), a flood-resilient co-living typology for Rotterdam South, and a rooftop intervention which explores post-pandemic loneliness and collectivity.
In her role at Vereniging Deltametropool (Rotterdam), Eva works at the intersection of design and public programming. As an event coordinator, she develops and facilitates a wide range of public formats, including workshops, lectures, panel discussions which bring together policymakers, spatial practitioners and researchers. Through these programs, she engages with activism and explores the role of radical imagination in reshaping planning culture and creating more inclusive futures.
She currently co-hosts the IFHP x VDM Learning Labs (a collaboration with the international federation of houing and planning), initiated an evening discussion Take a Stance (2025), and helped organise the Brussels Convening (2025), a European forum addressing the housing crisis through integrated, cross-sectoral dialogue. She was also co-author of the resulting plea to the European Commission, advocating for more collaborative and systemic approaches to spatial development.
Previously, Eva worked at Office RBGV and Studio Aangenaam and interned at Mei Architects and Planners and Tato Architects in Kobe Japan, gaining experience in concept development, technical drawing, material research, and public space design.
Eva holds a BA in Spatial Design and is preparing for entry into the Dutch Architectenregister via a Master of Architecture. While she works mainly in English she continues to develop her Dutch. Across both her design and programming work, Eva aims to contribute to a spatial culture that is imaginative, accountable, and socially focused.
