The flats, once serving the families of the bombed city, are now home to a diverse population including young professionals, families and Elderly. The design can be criticized for limiting human interaction. There is no space to gather and the crowds quickly dissipates once the shopping district is closed.
Despite our expansive online network, many people struggle with feelings of isolation and loneliness, particularly during the pandemic.
